Teen Driver Ed Courses

• ODOT Approved Hybrid package - under 18 and unlicensed

  This package combines evening Zoom classes during the school week with Saturday in-person training. There will be two 1-hour Zoom sessions in the evening and a 3-hour in-person session on Saturday.

  Students in this program receive:

  • 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction
  • 6 hours of observation of behind-the-wheel instruction

• ODOT Approved Under 18 Rural Counties

  This course is for 15-17 year olds in Harnery, Lake, Morrow, and Tillamook Counties. Classes will be held virtually and drives will be conducted at the location. Virtual reality will be offered to give students exposure in driving scenarios students may not face in their current locations (e.g., merging, changing lanes, city driving).

• Virtual Reality

  Do Virtual Reality first to see if there is a capability to drive. If you have driving experience use Virtual Reality to work on a few problem areas or gain experience in situations you have not driven before. You can fail here with no consequences. It will be scheduled in 2 1-hour increments.

  Choose the number of lessons you think you'll need, you can always add more. Each lesson is two hours long and customized to meet your needs. We will discuss your driving goals and create a package of drives that works beest for you. Need more freeway driving to prepare for college? We can do that. Have difficulty handling curves on rural roads? We could focus on that.
